Covid Information

- In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Paris may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information
- Covid Rules: Anyone over the age of 12 entering France must present a negative Covid Test less than 24 or 48 hours depending on what country they are travelling from.
- Exceptions: Fully vaaccinated people coming from an EU state, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, SanMarino, the Holy See or Switzerland.

Tip 1: Paris is best explored by walking
- Paris has maintained much of its old city which means it's a great place to go exploring history. A lot of many of the monuments are close to one another and their are many tours you can join if you would prefer to have a little extra help in getting around the city.

Tip 2: Have yourself covered in case of Emergencies
- It's important to know emergency numbers in case of well an emergency. You dial 112 then either 15 for medical assistance, 17 for the police and 18 for the fire brigade. Tip 3: Stay Central
- Paris has 20 neighbourhoods it is divided into which are referred to as arrondissements. While it is very tempting to go with a budget option this can cost you time in travelling to where you want to go. If you are looking to see the many sights it's best to book a hotel stay at a place closer to the centre of the city. This also helps in being in a safer area and closer to multiple forms of transport.

Tip 4: Be careful with cash and belongings
- Most major cities unfortunately atrract petty criminals to tourists. These criminals will identify you as a target so be careful. Tip 5: Tipping
- Tipping in france is not mandatory or essential at times however there are a few differences depending on who you are Tipping. Here are a list of recommendations.
- Restaurants: Not really essentual but if you do then about 5 to 10%
- Hotels:Luxury Hotels that have valets, bellmen are recommended to be tipped
- Taxis: Yes around 5 to 10%
- Tour Guides:A lot of tours are free so tipping is recommended between 1 to 5 euros
